Sheila Says

Hi.  My name is Sheila.

I’ve been contemplating a blog for some time now.  The main hold-up has been my inability to choose just one topic to focus on.  I wouldn’t call myself an “expert” in any one thing.  I have far too many interests and hobbies to limit myself to writing about only one.  I intend for this blog to be a creative outlet for my extreme left-sided brain.  Topics will probably cover everything from my bulldog, Beatrice, to how I’ve reorganized my coat closet and everything in between.

So, about me.  I was born and raised in rural Illinois before setting off on my own to study accounting at Central College in Pella, IA.  Since college, I’ve been living and working in Des Moines, IA.  When I’m not at work, I’m probably spending my time with these two –

That would be my husband, Mike, and our English Bulldog, Beatrice.  And yes, Beatrice is wearing her football costume.  She hates to go to events underdressed.
